104th Ainsdale Show Rules
- All produce must have been grown in the Exhibitors’ garden or allotment except where stated. All entries must be on the Official Entry Form stating class or classes to be exhibited. Entry is free for members or £1 per entry for non-members. Exhibitors’ must provide their own flower vases or bowls. This entry should be returned to one of the locations indicated on the entry form not later than Friday 26th June 2026 at 5pm. A maximum of two per class or one in Photographic classes.
- Exhibitors’ cards must be obtained from the Show Secretary in the Exhibition Tent on the village green on Friday 3rd July from 2.00pm-7.30 pm, or Saturday 4th July from 8.30 am-9.20 am. These cards to be placed face downwards on Exhibits prior to being judged. Any Exhibit staged without a card will be disqualified.
- The Exhibition Tent will be open from 2.pm till 8pm on Friday 3rd July for Exhibits to be staged and 8.30 am till 9.30 am on the morning of the Show, excepting the Art and Photography Exhibits which should be provided for staging before 7pm on Friday 3rd July. All non-Judges or Officials must leave the marquee by 9.30 am Show Day.
- Any Prize may, at the discretion of the Judge, be withheld if the Exhibit be considered unworthy of the prize offered. The Judge’s decision shall be final except where objection is sustained for infringement of the rules. Any objection should be made in writing to the Secretary before noon on Show Day, accompanied by a deposit of £1 which if the objection is sustained, will be refunded.
- All Prize money will be available from the marquee between 2pm and 4pm on Saturday 4th July. Any Prize money not claimed from the Treasurer within 14 days will be forfeited.
- The Society will not accept responsibility for loss or damage to Exhibits.
- No Exhibit or Display may be removed from the Show before the closure of the Show on Sunday (4pm approx.) Any Exhibit not collected will be disposed of.
